There Is Not A Chance In Hell That Taylor Swift Is Dating Matty Healy Of The 1975

Taylor and Matty are ready to go public with their romance in Nashville, Tennessee, where the US singer performs this weekend.

It comes a month after it was revealed US singer-songwriter Taylor, 33, had split from actor Joe Alwyn, 32, after six years.

A source close to Taylor said: “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.

“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.

“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.

This is such total and complete bullshit I don't even know where to begin.

1. Yes, Taylor and Matty like, hooked up or something 10 years ago. They DID NOT "date," they ran in the same crew and partied a bit together. Rumor is that he loved HER, but she ultimately friendzoned him, but I could be confusing that part with the guy from Owl City.

2. People are saying "Jack Antonoff set it up," why would he need to set anything up, Taylor and Matty have been friends for years. She literally performed at a 1975 show in the beginning of January, singing Anti-Hero live for (I think) the first time.

3. She JUST GOT OUT OF A SIX YEAR RELATIONSHIP TWO MONTHS AGO. I know people rebound. I know they need to fuck and get over it. But DATING?!?! BOYFRIEND GIRLFRIEND?! There's just no fucking way. Not a chance on this green earth is Taylor Swift currently calling herself Matty Healy's girlfriend.

"The couple is ready to debut their relationship this weekend in Nashvile" LOLOLOLOL. PLEASE!!!! Please. As if she'd ever let a MAN take away from her shows?? All jokes aside, I think the Swifties would actually hate that. Half the concert is full of songs about Joe. It's already awkward to immediately turn off those feelings in our brain and stay positive and hope that love ISN'T dead, we don't want to think about a new man yet and NEITHER DOES SHE!!! Especially a fast talking, smooth operating, cigarette smoking emo boy like Matty! (PS I love The 1975. Just not as Taylor's boyfriend rn.)

IF anything, he could possibly be a special guest for Taylor at the next shows. She's had Aaron Dessner come out already, and AS YOU CAN SEE, she and Matty also have a business relationship. The 1975 worked on Midnights with Taylor, but the song they put together ended up not making the album cut according to an interview:

People - Matty Healy has confirmed that a collaboration between Taylor Swift and The 1975 does exist — but it's staying in the vault for now.

Despite previously saying that talk of the two joining forces was "fake news," Healy, 33, revealed that he and his bandmates actually did work with Swift on her new album Midnights, but that whatever they created didn't make the cut.

"We actually worked a bit on that but then the version of it never came out," the star said in an interview with KROQ's Klein/Ally Show for Audacy's DTS Sound Space.

After the crowd booed Healy's revelation, the "About You" singer was quick to defend Swift, telling them "that's not how it works."

"It was for reasons that are not to be criticized," he said. "She's amazing."

The pair share producer Jack Antonoff in common, and Healy said that Swift got an early listen of their new album Being Funny in a Foreign Language "through Jack." She was quoted in a Pitchfork profile of Healy published in August describing the record as "so funny."

I bet the world she has the whole band out to play whatever it is that didn't make the cut for Midnights, which would be sick. I would LOVE to get ahold of that song. Taylor has a rule on her tour, she's allowed to play as many songs from Midnights as she wants, because it's the newest album.

LET'S TURN OUR BRAINS ON, PEOPLE. Taylor doesn't, and has never, operated like this when it comes to boyfriends. MIND YOUR BUSINESS, KEEP IT MOVING.
